October 10 – October 14 2022 is the Feed Geelong Appeal, we are encouraging our network to get involved and help raise much needed funds for food relief in our region. This year Give Where You Live has only been able to fulfill 65% of the requests for food relief. Many individuals and families are for the very first time in their life turning to food relief services. Finding themselves in a position where they are required to chose between paying a bill or feeding their family as a result of the pressures of the pandemic. Whether it be reduced hours, or being made redundant the the people of our region need our help more than ever.
Here at Lyons Construction we are spreading the word in office and on site. Brown Paper Bag Day is Friday 14th October and to raise awareness we hosted a lunch with Lyons staff and Sub-Contractors on site at our Moorabool Street project. Digging deep into our pockets we encouraged everybody to donate to the worthy cause.
