Norm Lyons, Chairman of Lyons Construction, Rob Birch, CEO of Gforce Employment Solutions and Tim Ellis, Manager of the City’s Economic Development team were all smiles after presenting the graduation ceremony for the fourth group of participants in the Regional Industry Sector Employment Program (RISE) on Wednesday 26 June.

The construction industry skills program continues to support better outcomes for young people in Greater Geelong, with six of the eight Group 4 graduates already placed as apprentices with local construction businesses and 39 graduates overall since the program commenced in July 2018.
