Stage 3B of Iona College was completed in January 2023.
The project site supervisors and contract managers worked tirelessly to ensure the building was ready for day one of the 2023 school year.
The build consisted of a new Administration Hub including a canteen, student services and library.
The building now home to the schools reception boasts a welcoming entrance, maximising natural light, and clever use of space. Now a standout feature for the school, located adjacent to the car park it will become a place to meet, gather and enjoy food from the local canteen services. Making the most of it’s natural surrounds, it will become a quiet place to read, learn and explore in the library as well as have access to student services when we needed.
As a repeat client for Lyons Construction, it was a pleasure furthering the school facilities and cementing what will become the heart of the school for the future. Working alongside Clarke Hopkins Clarke on yet another project enabled us to deliver a quality build which was a testament to their remarkable design and incredible attention to detail.
