Construction of Stage 1 of the Good News Lutheran College, Mambourin Campus marked the welcome opening of a new school.
The Mambourin campus’ Junior Learning Building is a two-story state of the art facility. This impressive purpose-built facility includes 16 modern classrooms and 8 flexible breakout rooms, along with dedicated staff facilities. Situated on a greenfield site and strategically positioned to meet the demands of the areas increasing population, the construction of this project offers an ideal environment for learning and development within the Mambourin community. Thoughtful landscaping with a focus on learning and development features a purpose-built play area and accompanying outdoor sports facilities.
A comprehensive civil works package was also completed as part of the exterior of this project, featuring well designed asphalt carparks, wide pavements and secure fencing, ensuring safe and convenient access for both school buses and parents. Partnering with PMDL McGlashan Everest Architecture, Fontic & GNLC, Lyons Construction oversaw the construction of the campus and completed all essential services, including forward thinking infrastructure that future proofs the school. This ensures that the campus can easily accommodate the growth of the community and support further future stages in expansion of the school.
