The Give Where You Live Foundation is a place-based philanthropic community foundation. As a proud Geelong, family-owned business, Lyons Construction is thrilled to give back to this inspiring organisation.
We have been a supporter of the foundation for over 25 years, taking part in the loaned executive program and Norm Lyons also became Campaign Chairperson in 2003.
So when the opportunity arose to provide our services to the Give Where You Live Foundation to assist refurbishing their office in Geelong CBD, we jumped at the chance. Together with Select Architects, who cleverly designed a ‘community lab’ co-working space, we were able to refurbish a tired, out-dated building into a modern headquarters. We were also able to secure a local procurement result of 98% of locally sourced subcontractors for the project.
