Expertly designed by Perkins Architects, the Drysdale Child & Family Centre is an integrated early childhood centre that Lyons Construction built for the City of Greater Geelong.
The facility is home to a wide range of services, including a versatile community area used for classes and meetings, maternal health services, counselling offices, reception, toy library, daycare, kindergarten, and full commercial kitchen.
As you walk through the entrance, you’ll notice the feature ply ceiling and timberwork which continues as a feature design element throughout the space. The building itself is a two-storey structure extensive boasting natural light. Externally, large undercover play areas and verandah accommodate for all-weather play and play spaces are integrated into the lush landscaping.
The building received a 5 Star Green Star accreditation in October 2021.
