Lyons Construction sharing the joy of giving for the 2022 Bethany Giving Tree Appeal

Lyons Construction prides itself on building a stronger community for the Greater Geelong region. This Christmas we have partnered with Bethany Community Support for their annual Giving Tree Appeal. 

At this time of year, many families are starting to get ready to gather and celebrate Christmas. But for some, just putting food on the table can be a struggle, let alone buying presents. Help support a local family this Christmas and share the joy of giving, by donating to the Geelong Giving Tree Appeal.

The Geelong Giving Tree Appeal is presented by Bethany Community Support, in collaboration with Barwon Child, Youth and Family and The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre.

Bethany Community Support assist over 850 local individuals and families at Christmas to receive financial support which aids them in making Christmas that very special time of year.

We encourage you to dig deep and donate, your financial donation will be exchanged for gift cards and given to families and individuals nominated by local community support organisations.

Natalie* knows what it feels like to be truly hungry. Over the years she has experienced homelessness and has gone weeks without anything to eat. Last year Natalie was one of over 850 local individuals and families who received financial support at Christmas time through the Geelong Giving Tree Appeal.
“It’s like a very precious gift, somebody cares about my situation, somebody cares about my quality of life, somebody cares about my welfare. You stop feeling invisible, you actually feel like you exist.”
Natalie hoped that by sharing her experience, it would encourage people to donate this year to help people like her.
