Lyons Construction awarded Kids Plus Foundation Centre

By | News, Projects

Lyons Construction is very pleased to announce that they have been awarded the Kids Plus Foundation Centre to be built at Nicol Drive, Deakin University. This $3M project, a collaboration between the Kids Plus Foundation and Deakin University, will provide first class therapy options to children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, along with research and training opportunities for the region’s next generation of allied health professionals.

This project will add to Lyons Construction’s strong recent history of completing projects, including Torquay North Children’s Centre, Clonard College, and Leopold Community Hub, that provide contemporary quality buildings for organisations to provide services that enrich the lives of children in the Geelong region.

Teeing off for the weekend at The Range @ Curlewis

By | LC Team, News

Last Friday was a cracker of a day weather wise…and it turned in to a perfect evening for Lyons Construction staff to gather at The Range @ Curlewis to tee off for what turned out to be a beautiful weekend.  Big hits interspersed with a couple of classic miss hits were the order of the evening. The competitive side came to the “fore” with 3 prizes up for grabs. Jacob Nolan was the first person to land a shot on the 175 metre target; Yoann Tranchant smashed a ball straight through the middle of the goal posts and Bernie Henry managed to hit the “Hit Me” target. All in all a great fun night to cap off what has been a busy period with the completion (or near completion) of quite a few Lyons Construction projects including The Brigidine Centre at Clonard College. Check out the photos of this unique building, on our Projects page, resplendent with intricate timber ceiling panelling, a large centre piece atrium, a stained glass window and a green feature wall.
